The election will take place at the Mid-Michigan Union Hall, 810 Tacoma Ct, Clio, MI 48420, on May 11, 2021, from 4:30pm thru 6pm. You must be a member in good standing to cast a ballot.
When contractors call the Union Hall for help, we need to know who is available, and have an up to date phone number. All Mid-Michigan Area members who are out of work need to call the Hall at (810) 687-1368 to be put on the out of work list.
The Detroit Collective Bargaining Committee has reached a tentative agreement with the Southeast Michigan Roofing Contractors Association. See below for wage schedule:
1. Wages Rate
$5.20 over 3 years
1st year $1.90
2nd year $1.65
3rd year $1.60
2. Wages Rate
Foreman $3.50 over Journeyman scale
3. Travel and Out-Of-Town Expenses
-Area 1- Subsistence - $23.00 per day
-Area 1A - Subsistence - $50.00 per day
-Area 2 - Subsistence - $80.00 per day
-Area 3 - Subsistence - $90.00 per day
4. Vacation pay starts after initiation fees are paid in full
